Ghost Roots
Ghost Roots is a women-first visual publication dedicated to one thing: contrasting color placed intentionally at or near the roots. Every photograph in the library is examined closely - shade, section width, placement, boundary, haircut, and texture; not to collect pretty images, but to help readers understand what they are actually looking at and how to use it. Ghost Roots was built around a simple frustration, inspiration was everywhere, but useful information was scattered. The publication brings both together, helping readers move from liking a photograph to asking the right questions about placement, visibility, grow-out, and what a colorist actually needs to know.
