Tickets are officially on sale for Drag Me to Sea—a fabulous seven-night cruise aboard the luxurious Norwegian Bliss, setting sail from Los Angeles on March 8! This unforgettable voyage will feature a fierce lineup of RuPaul’s Drag Race fan favorites, including Detox, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Darienne Lake, Thorgy Thor, and more. Guests will enjoy nonstop entertainment, over-the-top fashion, and show-stopping performances from 15 of the world’s top drag queens—all while cruising through the stunning ports of Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Mazatlán.
Conceived and produced by Tim Evanicki, Ed Popil (Mrs. Kasha Davis), Steven Levins, and Ricardo Torres of Drag Me to the Stage, the company behind some of the country’s most beloved drag brunches, Drag Me to Sea takes the electrifying energy to the open ocean. “Our fans kept asking when we’d take this party on the road,” says Evanicki. “So we partnered with Cruise Planners and Norwegian Cruise Line to create a floating drag utopia like nothing else on the seas.”
The stacked queen lineup features fan favorites from RuPaul’s Drag Race alongside comedy drag legends like Varla Jean Merman and Dixie Longate, and global icons such as San Francisco’s very own Sister Roma, the world’s most photographed nun.
Onboard entertainment includes nightly mainstage spectacles, intimate cabarets, outrageous drag brunches with bottomless mimosas, bingo and karaoke hosted by the queens, poolside lip-sync battles, and late-night dance parties under the stars.
Unlike typical themed sailings, Drag Me to Sea is a private group experience on a regular Norwegian Cruise Line voyage—meaning every event, brunch, and bash is curated exclusively for Drag Me to Sea guests. Package pricing includes things like entertainment, beverage packages, gratuities, Wi-Fi, and port charges, so guests can focus on serving looks, not sorting receipts.
Onshore excursions are equally fabulous, featuring tequila tastings, snorkeling, cultural walking city tours, and even surprise queen performances in port. While VIP packages have already sold out, all guests will enjoy access to themed nights, the chance to mix and mingle with queens, and an atmosphere that celebrates inclusivity, authenticity, and self-expression.
The cruise adheres to Norwegian Cruise Line’s comprehensive health and safety protocols and maintains a zero-tolerance anti-harassment policy. Gender-inclusive signage, pronoun-friendly check-in, and fully accessible performance venues ensure all guests feel welcome and seen.
“This cruise is for anyone who loves bold entertainment and community celebration,” says Evanicki. “LGBTQ+ travelers, allies, superfans, first-timers—whether you live for late-night parties or brunch-time bingo, you’ll find your people on this ship.”
His advice for first-time cruisers? Pack layers for cooler evenings, bring heels and sneakers, book excursions early, stay hydrated, and leave space in your suitcase for the merch and memories you’ll collect.
“This isn’t just a vacation,” Mrs. Kasha Davis adds. “It’s a slaycation: a glam-buoyant celebration of drag, community, and pure joy on the open sea.”
